Radiation Sources

Most Scantech equipment contains a radioactive source. The larger anaysers require Californium 252, which has a half life of 2.65 years. Thus, these radioactive sources are replenished every 2.65 years in order for the analysers to maintain optimum accuracy.
Scantech has agreements with a number of suppliers worldwide and this guarantees a stable supply of sources for your analyser.
Please update your details with the service team and our souce manager will remind you when the time to top up gets close.

"Modern online analyzers make it possible to permanently control the raw material quality delivered from the quarry to the stockyard even if the deposit is disturbed and the raw material quality varies over a wide range"
