Radioactive Sources
Most Scantech equipment contains a radioactive source. The larger anaysers require Californium 252, which has a half life of 2.65 years. Thus, these radioactive sources are replensihed every 2.65 years in order for the analysers to maintain optimum accuracy.
Scantech has agreements with a number of suppliers worldwide and this guarantees a stable supply of sources for your analyser.
